Migrated a Multitenant
Content Management System to the Cloud

We migrated the client's CMS to a scalable cloud platform, addressing frequent hardware failures, reducing downtime, and eliminating the need for substantial hardware investments. This migration improved system performance, reduced manual intervention, and enhanced operational efficiency while lowering costs.

The challenge

Client hosted its CMS on on-premise and faced frequent hardware failures. Because of its multitenant architecture, multiple applications experienced downtime simultaneously. Unanticipated peak demand forced substantial hardware investment. Extensive manual intervention was also required. Content buffering during distribution with latency and static content storage posed additional challenges.

The solution

We migrated the CMS from on-premises infrastructure to a more reliable, flexible, and scalable cloud platform. Its resilient property reduced downtime. Auto-scaling was implemented, allowing horizontal scale-in and scale-out of instances as per requirement. A content distribution network minimized latency, and cloud storage was used for static and media files.

The result

The implementation brought significant benefits, including reduced downtime, dynamic resource adjustment based on demand, elimination of substantial hardware investments, improved system performance and uptime, and minimized manual intervention, resulting in enhanced operational efficiency and reduced costs for the client.
